LIFE COACHING

It was in 2004 when two individuals on two separate occasions said, “Anita, you are so good with people; you should be a Life Coach.” Unfamiliar that there was such a profession at the time, Anita thought that it would definitely be something of interest to her since she has been coaching people one-on-one throughout most of her life and it was in line with what she was already doing as a motivational speaker and seminar facilitator. Even as far back as a young girl, she would be the one that people felt comfortable in talking to.  In college, friends would come to her with issues that were troubling them.  From those two individuals, the seed was planted and Anita sought to become a Life Coach.  She completed training from one of the world’s top coaching institutes.

Her colleagues often told her that she was a “natural” because of her insightful gift and intuitive ability.  Anita believes that being totally present at each coaching session allows her to ask powerful questions that only her client has the answers to but that are often locked deep within.  It’s from that place that the biggest breakthroughs occur.  Anita says, “Unlike a counselor or therapist, I don’t probe into your past.  I am concerned about where you are at the present in order to effectively coach you toward your dreams, goals, and new possibilities.”  She believes in celebrating with her clients each milestone, personal triumph, victory, and breakthrough.

As your Life Coach, Anita is committed to providing you a safe place where trust and confidentiality are foremost.  She adheres strictly to the policies and practices of the International Coaches Federation of which she is a member.

Here are a few interesting benefits of life coaching:

Helping you find the answers that are often deep inside that lead to the road of fulfillment and balance  /  Guiding you as you re-discover and re-define your path  /  Empowering you with tools to maintain stability in your life

  • Coaches do not diagnose or treat symptomatic and problematic issues to achieve wellness and balance for clients.

  • Since coaching is a holistic approach to achieving an enhanced quality of life, there are no negative ideas and views associated with it.

  • Coaches focus on the present and future instead of the past.  Coach and client form a plan to maximize favorable outcome for client.  Coaching explores external situations, circumstances and temporary obstacles that prevent real fulfillment and balance.

  • Most coaching sessions are held over the phone.
